Foreign Secondary Education Credential Submission
Some students at CSCC may have completed their high school or secondary school education overseas. If this applies to you please note the following:
You may be required to use a credential evaluation company to obtain an official evaluation report showing that your foreign credentials are equivalent to a U.S. High School Diploma. Usually, you will only be asked to obtain an evaluation in one of two cases:
- If you are applying for financial aid and are selected for high school verification
OR - If your program of study (such as Nursing) requires proof of high school graduation.
Not all students will need to obtain an evaluation of their high school documents. Only those student who have been notified that they need to provide proof that they have completed the equivalency of an US high school diploma need to obtain an evaluation.
Please note that a professional evaluation is the only way that credentials from outside the USA can be submitted to CSCC.
