Early Grade Release for Graduates of Other Institutions
The Early Grade Release for Graduates of Other Institutions form is used by graduating students of other colleges/universities to submit the grades of the course(s) he or she has taken at Columbus State during the current semester in which the student will graduate at those other colleges/universities prior to the completion of the CSCC academic term/semester. The student's graduation status is verified at the other institution before transcript is sent. This form is used only for graduates and will not be processed for student's seeking entry to another institution or to a program at another institution.
The Early Grade Release Form for Graduates of Other Institutions
Students should speak with their instructors regarding a potential early grade release during their first week of classes for the semester they are intending to graduate. Instructors are NOT required to participate in early grade release. Students who have not received permission for early grade release are responsible to finding an alternative solution.
After the form was completed, the process is to send an official transcript to the student's home institution. The student is not required to order and pay for a transcript if the completed Early Grade Release Form for Graduates of Other Institutions has been completed and submitted.
The form must be completed with the student's name, CougarID, institution from which he or she is graduating, the name of the graduation coordinator, the coordinator's telephone number along with the student's signature. The form will not be processed if the information, including the student's signature, is not complete on the form. Also, the course information must be complete, including the final grade. If the grade is not provided, or it is not the final grade, the form will not be processed.
