I’ve attended Columbus State in the past
Welcome back to Columbus State!
Good news, when you have already submitted an application for admission in the past, there is no need to re-apply! We will have your information on file already.
You may need to update your Columbus State record to reflect any changes in your name, address, phone number, immigration status, or program of study.
Follow the steps below to continue toward your desired goals.
College Credit Plus Students: If you have taken classes through the College Credit Plus program and would like to continue on as a traditional student at Columbus State, you do NOT need to reapply to Columbus State. Please email email@example.com.
- Update your username and password
- Check your Columbus State email.
- Check and update your personal information in your General Student Profile:
In-person: Download and complete the Change of Information Form to update your selective service number and contact information such as address and emergency contact information. Download and complete the Program of Study Update Form to update your program of study. Download and complete the Request for Change of Record Form if you have had a name change or need corrections to your social security number or birth date (proper supporting documentation is required). These forms will need to be returned to Student Central (Madison Hall, Upper Level).
By phone: Call the Telephone Information Center at 614-287-5353 to update your address, phone number, major, and selective service number.
Online: Login to CougarWeb to update your address, phone number and email address.
If you have earned credit at another college or university since you last attended Columbus State, request an official transcript from those college(s). Most colleges have an online transcript request process that you can find easily by visiting their site and searching for “transcripts.”
IMPORTANT: We must receive your official transcript directly from the college. Students are not permitted to submit transcripts.
Walk in or call to meet with an advisor to schedule your classes. Be sure to bring a copy of your transcript(s) with you.
