New Students & Orientation

As a new Columbus State student, we want to make sure you have everything you need for a successful transition into college. Once you've applied, New Student Programs can help you get ready for your first semester.

Orientation / New Student Workshop

If you've already applied for admission and completed placement, your next step is to attend either Orientation or New Student Workshop. There, you'll register for your first class, discuss financial aid options, learn about campus resources, and get ready to succeed in college.

Orientation

New Student Orientation is for students who graduated high school within the last two years (2020 or 2021). Invitations for orientation will begin on October 19th. Click here to learn more.

New Student Workshop

This two-part program is for students who graduated high school more than two years ago (2019 or earlier).
