As a College Credit Plus participant, you are already a valued Columbus State student, and we want you to continue on with us as a full-time student after you graduate from high school! To continue at Columbus State after high school, follow the steps below.

Registration Steps
Follow the steps below to continue your academic journey at Columbus State. This process will ensure a seamless transition from CCP to your undergraduate studies at the college.
Apply to Columbus State
Complete the standard application.
Choose a Major
"As part of the standard application, you will select a program of study and your CCP credits from Columbus State will link up with your updated student record.
Use Explore.CSCC.edu to browse all available CSCC majors.
Fill Out Your FAFSA
Complete the FAFSA at studentaid.gov (Columbus State school code: 006867).
Columbus State Credits: Your Columbus State College Credit Plus credits are already here, so no need to do anything there!
High School Transcripts: Have your high school send us your final, official high school transcript.
CCP at Another College: If you completed College Credit Plus through another college or university (other than Columbus State), request an official transcript from the college(s) where you have earned credit. Most colleges have an online transcript request process that you can find easily by visiting their site and searching for “transcripts.”
IMPORTANT: We must receive your official transcript directly from the college. Students are not permitted to submit transcripts.
AP Classes: If you completed AP classes, request an official transcript from The College Board to be sent to Columbus State.
Your next step is to submit your qualifying ACT/SAT scores and check with your CCP advisor to see if re-testing is necessary.
Near the end of your senior year of high school, you will get an invitation in your Columbus State student email to attend New Student Orientation.
