Earn while you learn. Through our partnerships with local employers, we offer a number of experiential learning programs that provide opportunities for students to engage in paid work experience while earning their degree.
- IT Flexible Apprenticeship: Columbus State partners with major IT employers in the region to offer students the opportunity for paid apprenticeship positions as they complete a degree in Cybersecurity or Software Development.
- Modern Manufacturing Work Study: Students complete their Engineering Technology degree working three days a week at a partner company and attending class at Columbus State the other two.
- Registered Apprenticeships: Columbus State Community College proudly partners with a number of Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor organizations across the state in the Skilled Trades.
- Internships: A number of departments reach out to local employers to provide internships for their students.
For students seeking a higher level of academic rigor and campus enagement, Columbus State offers an Honors Program.
If you are a graduating senior interested in the fields of science, technology, engineering, math or medicine, you may be able to attend Columbus State tuition-free with the Future Scientists of Ohio Scholarship.
