Capital University: Investing in Columbus State Grads

Capital University student image

In January 2023, Capital University and Columbus State announced an expanded partnership through which Pell Grant-eligible transfer students may receive Capital’s Main Street Scholarship, a combination of funds that will cover the full cost of Capital’s tuition and fees for many participating students. The program is a dual admission partnership in which students are enrolled at both Capital and Columbus State, gaining immediate access to the campus resources of both institutions, including campus recreation, library, student organizations, campus housing, and events.

After completing associate degrees at Columbus State, participants are guaranteed transfer to Capital to complete their bachelor’s degrees. The partnership marks Columbus State’s second dual admission agreement, an approach pioneered in partnership with Otterbein University in 2017.
