About Ohio Wesleyan University

Ohio Wesleyan University is a private, liberal arts university located in Delaware, OH (about 30 minutes from downtown Columbus).  It is dedicated to preparing its students for a lifetime of learning, service, and leadership. OWU enrolls about 1500 students in 70 majors on its residential campus. Jamal David, Assistant Director for Transfer Admission, is available to speak to Columbus State students in person, online, by phone, or by email.  Students who want to make an appointment should use the information below to contact Jamal.  His schedule can be viewed below or here on OWU's website  

Jamal welcomes students who have just begun their studies at Columbus State to those who have already graduated and are planning to transfer to Ohio Wesleyan University. If students have any questions, you may contact him via email at jkdavid@owu.edu.

Visit Information

Jamal schedules visits regularly on the Columbus and Delaware campuses on a drop-in basis. See the calendar below for more information on days and times. Students may email Jamal David at jkdavid@owu.edu, if they would like to make an appointment.  Students can also text at 740-200-4579, or leave a phone message at 740-368-3049 if they are interested in discussing admission and transfer to Ohio Wesleyan University or are having trouble making an appointment through email.   If they wish to schedule a Zoom meeting or a Google Hangout, students may register for those at https://apply.owu.edu/portal/call_jkdavid  Students wishing to complete a virtual admissions information session and tour should follow this link: https://www.owu.edu/admission/visit/
