About Ohio Dominican University
Ohio Dominican University is a small, private, Catholic, liberal arts university located 10 minutes east of downtown Columbus. Ohio Dominican has about 3000 students in over 40 different majors and programs attending classes on their main campus and online. About 40% of Ohio Dominican students are transfer students in either the more traditional day and evening on campus programs, and the adult degree completion programs. Students who have more than 24 transferrable credit hours are considered transfer students.
Benefits for Columbus State Graduates
- Students who graduate with an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree from Columbus State are guaranteed admission to Ohio Dominican.
- Associate of Arts or Associate of Sciences graduates will satisfy all ODU general education requirements with the exception of the Philosophy and Theology requirements. Some CORE classes may be needed in particular majors and programs after transfer.
- Transfer scholarships of up to $16,000 per year are available, plus additional scholarship available for Phi Theta Kappa members! NEW! Columbus State students who graduate with an associate's degree and a 3.0 GPA may be eligible for half-tuition ($16,000) at Ohio Dominican. Please speak to an ODU representative for more details.

The ODU Pathways are in the process of being updated. While students may use these as a general guide for transfer to Ohio Dominican, they are strongly encouraged to meet with both a Columbus State Academic Advisor and admissions representatives and/or academic advisors at Ohio Dominican for the most up-to-date information and construction of an academic plan.
