Aquinas Hall was originally Aquinas College High School, 1905 -1965. It was purchased by Columbus Technical Institute (the predecessor to Columbus State) in 1965 and became the campus' first building that year.

The Center for Workforce Development houses the Community Education and Workforce Development department, which handles noncredit offerings. WD also holds a conference center with a ballroom, meeting rooms, a business center, and kitchen serving space.
