Columbus State welcomes over 2,000 students from 130+ countries, offering a supportive environment for both global and international students. Our active campus offers many ways to socialize, network, and be part of the Columbus community.

Global Students include:

• Permanent residents
• Refugees and asylees
• Pending immigrant statuses
• Parolees
• TPS (Temporary Protected Status) holders
• DACA recipients
• Undocumented students
• Non-immigrant visa holders (excluding F1 and B1/B2)

International Students include:

• Those seeking an F1 visa for study in the United States 
• Those in the U.S. on F1 status and wish to transfer their SEVIS record to Columbus State
• Those currently in the U.S. under a different visa type (e.g., B1/B2) and wish to change their status to F1.
