The Mid-Ohio Market at Columbus State (MOM @CState) is a resource for students and community members to access free, fresh, and shelf-stable food on a regular basis. It is located at 400 Grove Street on the Columbus Campus.
We are currently offering prepacked boxes of vegetables, fruit, dairy, meat, and dry goods. Variety and availability varies each day. We also have a limited supply of diapers and pet food available on request.
Who is Eligible
Eligible shoppers must have a household income that is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. There is no limit to how many times per month eligible shoppers can visit the Market.
Students can schedule an appointment to receive a prepacked box at the Market through the MOM site on Starfish, located in Blackboard.

Due to COVID-19 the Market is currently offering curbside service only. Please pull up alongside the building's garage door that faces Grove Street. A staff member will take your ID and load your car. Please have adequate room for up to four boxes. Walk-up service is also available.

Can You Help?
The Mid-Ohio market is always in need of dedicated volunteers! We need your help in fulfilling this vital mission. We welcome volunteers whether you are affiliated with Columbus State or not. Please note that you may need to lift 30lbs and shifts are in three-hour blocks. We have taken protective measures in the facility to be sure that service is safe for everyone. Shifts are available here (search for MOM @CState).
