Are you ready to register?
After your Ready, Set, CState event, you'll be ready to register for classes or attend a Course Registration Workshop. Make sure you have your Placement & Testing and Financial Aid on file.
Placement is how we determine which classes are the best fit for your skill level and we need this register for classes.
Accepted placement includes:
- High school transcripts from the last ten years.
- Standardized tests scores from the last two years.
- Placement assesment test.
Pro tip: Don’t stress about placement testing. You won’t be graded; it only helps Columbus State get you in the right classes. You can sign up for placement testing here.

Register for Autumn 2026 classes using our new student information system, Workday.
Troubleshooting
We’ve switched our student system to Workday! You’ll do a lot in Workday, including registering for classes. To learn more about logging in and getting registered go to cscc.edu/workdayinfo.
We have step-by-step instructions on how to register in Workday. The biggest change from CougarWeb is that you have a few tasks to complete before you’re able to register for classes.
Log in to Workday and complete the following tasks:
- Acknowledge the financial agreement.
- Review your information.
- Confirm your plans.
- Register for classes.
