Our chat feature can be found on the bottom right of this page. The hours of chat are Monday-Friday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the last Saturday of each month.

Please use your Columbus State Student Email Account and be sure to include your full name, CougarID number, and your question. You should receive a response within 3-5 business days.
New Student In-person Drop-ins
To speak with a New Student Coach in person, visit the lower level of Madison Hall during the hours listed below. Drop-in meetings may be limited to 15 minutes. If additional time is needed, please make a virtual appointment. Please have your Cougar ID number and questions ready before you come to campus. Please note: you may be referred to your recommended New Student Program prior to speaking with a New Student Coach.
Hours for In-person Drop-ins:
Mondays: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Tuesdays: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Fridays: Virtual Appointments Only
Virtual Phone Appointments
You can speak with a New Student Coach virtually through a scheduled phone appointment. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes. If you need additional time, you will need to make a follow-up appointment. Please have your Cougar ID number and questions ready before scheduling a virtual phone appointment. Please note: you may be referred to your recommended New Student Program prior to speaking with a New Student Coach.
