Find Your Orientation Experiences

Your Orientation Experiences are an opportunity to get a great start to your college career. You'll learn about Columbus State, find out what to expect, and learn how to succeed as a college student. Most importantly, this is where you'll choose and register for your first classes.

You can complete your New Student Onboarding steps by logging on to Workday. You will complete tasks including finding your orientation experience and registering for a Course Registration Workshop.

Adult Student

English as a Second Language

The ESL Next Steps Workshop is designed for students who completed the ESL placement test and placed into ESL 0188, 0189, or 0190 on their ESL placement assessment. At the workshop, students will meet an ESL professor, register for classes, and work with a member of the financial aid team to file their FAFSA, all in one event.
