Get Started
Apply for admission to Columbus State online at cscc.edu/apply.
Be sure to also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at fafsa.gov (Columbus State school code: 006867). For transfer students interested in using financial aid, please visit our Transferring Financial Aid page for detailed information.
As soon as possible, request an official transcript from the college(s) where you have earned credit. Most colleges have an online transcript request process that you can find easily by visiting their site and searching for “transcripts.”
IMPORTANT: We must receive your official transcript directly from the college. Students are not permitted to submit transcripts.
If you have credits that transfer, you will receive an email notification to your Columbus State email account and can log onto CougarWeb to view your transfer credits. An academic advisor will work with you to determine how your transfer credits will apply toward your chosen major, and what classes you need to take your first semester.
