Youngstown State University
Youngstown State University is an Ohio public research university located in Youngstown, Ohio founded in 1908. It is located halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh about 2.5 hours northeast of Columbus. Over 12,000 students attend one of Youngstown's 115 majors and 40 graduate programs on a residential campus located in downtown Youngstown, including engieering, allied health, nursing, education, and business. Students are considered transfer students once they've completed college credit after high school. The university grants open enrollment to transfer students with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
