Western Governors University
Columbus State Community College is a member of the Ohio Association of Community
Colleges (OACC). As members, graduates and employees of Columbus State can enjoy the
benefits of the Western Governors University transfer partnership with OACC. Western Governors University is an online, non-profit
institution that is regionally accredited. It utilizes the competency-based model
of teaching and learning. Students can begin their education at WGU at any time and
take as many classes as they desire in a six-month time span for one price. Students
may choose to transfer to WGU at anytime during their education. For more information
