Columbus State Community College is a member of the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC). Through this membership, Columbus State graduates and employees have access to benefits through OACC’s partnership with Western Governors University (WGU).

Columbus State graduates and employees are eligible to apply for WGU’s $3,500 Community College Partnership Scholarship. The partnership also includes a free WGU application, free transcript retrieval through the National Student Clearinghouse, and a free transcript review.

WGU is an online, nonprofit university that offers competency-based degree programs. Students can start their program at any time and complete as much coursework as they are able to during each six-month term for one flat tuition rate.
