Western Governors UniversityColumbus State Community College is a member of the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC). As members, graduates and employees of Columbus State can enjoy the benefits of the Western Governors University transfer partnership with OACC. Please read the signed partnership agreement below to learn about the details and benefits of this agreement. Several different pathways have been established, including programs related to Business, Nursing and HIM, Information Technology, and Computer Science. Western Governors University is an online, non-profit institution that is regionally accredited. It utilizes the competency-based model of teaching and learning. Students can begin their education at WGU at any time and take as many classes as they desire in a six-month time span for one price. Scroll down to the bottom of the page after reading the important information regarding WGU for more information about the transfer pathways between Columbus State and WGU.  NOTE: The NETWORK SECURITY track no longer exists for the Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science degree at Columbus State.  The transfer pathway on WGU's site for that degree is only for students who completed that program prior to its elimination.
