Ashland University
Ashland University is private, comprehensive university located in Ashland, Ohio (approximately
1.5 hours north of downtown Columbus). Ashland has nearly 7000 students studying over
60 majors, including Nursing, business, media/communications, and business. Ashland
also has a Columbus Center, located in the Northland area of Columbus that has adult
completion programs in business and education. Ashland offers transfer scholarships
to students with a 2.7 cumulative GPA or higher. Thirty percent of an entering class
at Ashland are considered transfer students. Ashland has award winning residence life
and food service and offers Division II NCAA athletics, as well as multitudes of other
student organizations and clubs.
