In this lab students will dissect owl pellets and use an identification chart to name the bones of the animal that was owl’s last meal!

WHAT'S IN A NAME: AN EXCERSIZE IN TAXONOMY
In this lab students will learn how living things are sorted and classified. They will then have a chance to create their own taxonomic key.
