Welcome to Accessibility Services
Columbus State Community College offers a wide range of support to encourage the enrollment of people with disabilities. Located in Eibling Hall 101, the Accessibility Services office provides services to qualified students with disabilities for all Columbus State locations.
- “Disability” is a broad term that includes, but is not limited to: mental health conditions, chronic health conditions, temporary injuries, physical/learning disabilities and ADHD. Accommodations can consist of: testing needs, alternate media, captioning, interpreting, and accommodations for temporary needs.
- Our Access Advisors can help determine your eligibility—or guide you to appropriate referral resources. Review the eligibility requirements below and provide disability documentation to our office.

How Do I Register and Set Up Services?
Step 1: Submit disability documentation.
To better support you, we need to learn about the nature and impact of your disability from a professional. Common forms of documentation include, but are not limited to:
- An IEP and ETR or 504 Plan
- Audiogram
- Disability Verification Form
Submit by email to disability@cscc.edu or by fax to (614) 287-6054. For in-person assitance, please stop by Eibling Hall 101 on Columbus Campus or the Main Front Desk on Delaware Campus andd Dublin Regional Learning Center.
Step 2: Schedule your intake meeting.
Check your Columbus State email for a receipt of your documentation and either a request for additional information or an invitation to schedule an intake meeting/
Step 3: Attend your intake meeting.
Meet with your Access Advisor to create a college-level accommodation plan based on your disability and access needs. This meeting is required for accommodations.

*Disability status does not exempt disruptive, aggressive, or other inappropriate behaviors as defined by the Student Code of Conduct.

Monday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday - 10:00am - 4:30pm
Intakes can be scheduled up to an hour before close.
