How to Apply and Maintain Eligibility
To be considered for state financial aid programs, students should:
- Complete the FAFSA each academic year.
- Meet Ohio residency requirements as defined by ODHE.
- Submit any state-mandated program applications when/if required.
Eligibility and renewal may depend on Ohio residency, financial need, enrollment level, program of study, and maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) SAP Policy. Students must submit the FAFSA annually and continue to meet program-specific requirements to maintain their eligibility. Awards may be adjusted based on changes in enrollment, program eligibility, or available ODHE funding.
