Innovation Network
Building on the combined institutional expertise and leadership in logistics engineering
technology (LET), the project is designing and establishing an LET innovation network
with chapters in Columbus, Dayton, and Chicago. The innovation network will act as
a gateway for education and industry collaboration, focusing on emerging technologies
in the logistics industry. Each chapter will engage with local area resource partners,
review software, and determine applications to curriculum, and collaborate with industry
to build the value of certifications and LET program content.
O•SCAN
Columbus State Community College, in partnership with The Ohio State University, has
formed the Ohio Supply Chain Academic Network (O•SCAN), a collaboration between the
supply-chain industry and higher education. Members include leaders from the public
and private sectors. O•SCAN convenes quarterly, with guest speakers and rotating meeting
locations, to promote the value of supply-chain education and advance the field by
integrating emerging technologies into academic curricula.
