Housing, utilities grant, and emergency rental assistance

The Columbus State Community College CState Cares Housing & Utilities Grant is funded by Franklin County and the U.S. Department of Treasury through the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program. It is designed to assist eligible student households unable to pay rent or utilities due directly or indirectly to the pandemic.
Requirements
- Franklin County resident who is obligated to pay rent on a residential dwelling for their housing
- Unemployed or had a reduction in income related to the pandemic
- Meet income eligibility requirements

General Emergency Aid Request
The application general emergency aid requests will be open until Thursday, April 28.
There is a small amount of emergency aid funding to assist students in meeting financial needs as a result of an unexpected event or emergency. The purpose is to assist students in remaining enrolled in college to progress toward the completion of their degree or certificate.
Students may apply once per term as long as funding is available. Awards range from $100 - $500 per student.
