Fight Back: Safety, Stalking and Domestic Violence

This interactive panel presentation will be held on Wednesday, February 6 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. in the Library Media Studio. . Presented in partnership with Columbus State's Office
of Compliance, this free event is open to staff, students, and the public. It will
cover topics such as:
* Obtaining a restraining order/order of protection
* Assistance with domestic violence/sex trafficking
* Stalking and harassment
* Campus safety and security
* Victim rights
* An understanding of the court system process
Speakers for Fight Back: Safety, Stalking and Domestic Violence will include Franklin
County Common Pleas judges Jaiza Page and Stephen Macintosh, Franklin County Prosecutor
Ron O'Brien, and representatives from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the
Columbus State Police Department. Resources from the college and community will be
available at the event.
Light refreshments will be served.
