A representative from Legal Aid Society of Columbus is on the Columbus Campus on occasion.
When here, the representative is able to assist students with:
•Benefits (Medicaid/Medicare, food stamps, Ohio Works First, SSI/SSDI, disability assistance,
Title XX Child Care, unemployment compensation, and medical debt)
•Family (Divorce, civil protection order, custody, spousal/child support)
•Wills or Advanced Directives
•Housing (Evictions, conditions problems, subsidy terminations)
•Consumer (Foreclosure, credit card debt, consumer scams, repossessions)
•Tax (Disputes with both the IRS and the State of Ohio)
•Reentry (Record sealing, CQE)
