Canned food drive underway

Student News | Friday, November 15, 2019

Columbus State’s Honors Program is coordinating a canned food drive for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank and the Mid-Ohio Market at Columbus State.. With the newly opened Market on the Columbus Campus, not all students are able to volunteer. The canned food drive is a way for people to help serve and get involved in the community for this holiday season by donating food/resources.

The food drive will continue through Friday, December 13. You can drop off donations at the Library, Bookstore, or the Honors Lounge on the second floor of WD. Examples of items that are needed include chili with beans, canned fruit, tuna, canned vegetables, canned meat, soup with vegetables, and peanut butter. Generally, any non-perishable food items will be accepted.
