Sending Your Test Scores & Transcripts
Transcripts and test scores help us place you in the right classes and award credit for previous coursework. Please review the list below, ensure your materials meet the guidelines, and send them to us so we can process credits and scores promptly.
Transcripts
Official transcripts must be received directly from the issuing institution. Please review the following pages for submission instructions and additional guidelines:
High School Transcripts, including GED and High School Equivalencies
Test Scores
Score reports must be received directly from the authorized testing organization. Please follow the instructions provided below to ensure that documents are received and processed efficiently.

Request that your GED* Transcript be sent to Columbus State. *Currently, Columbus State does not use HiSet and TASC scores for placement, only the GED exam. |
GED exam scores must be less than 10 years old to be used for placement. |
Advanced Placement (AP) |
Request that your official score report be sent to Columbus State. |

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) |
Request that your official score report be sent to Columbus State. Please note: CLEP scores are sent with first and last name only and no date of birth. Please email transcriptevaluation@cscc.edu to let us know you’ve sent CLEP scores and include your Cougar ID (CSCC student ID number) so that we can match the scores to your record. |
