Online Student Success Guides
Students in online classes have access to additional resources to encourage success in their online learning.
Online Student Success Guides are available to answer general questions about online learning, connect you with campus resources, help navigate blackboard courses, provide support for virtual testing, and offer tips and encouragement for your online learning experience.

Respondus Monitor Coaching
Respondus Monitor is one of the systems Columbus State uses to administer exams online. At the beginning of each semester, Online Student Success Guides host Respondus Monitor trainings to help students get comfortable using the system. To find a student RM Zoom Session, check the schedule posted in the Respondus Monitor Module in your Blackboard course.
One-on-one coaching is also available for students using Respondus Monitor. To request a coaching session, email onlinetestsupport@cscc.edu.
Online Student Success Guides
Kelli Coleman DelGuzzo
Kelli is joining CSCC as an Online Student Success Guide. She has a BA from Muskingum
University, an MS from Xavier University, an MA from Ashford University, an Educational
Leadership Endorsement from Western Governors University and is currently completing
her EdD in Special Education from Walden University. She is a lifelong learner with
a passion for working with students of all ages. She served as a high school social
studies teacher and assistant principal in the Columbus area before moving into a
Regional Special Education Coordinator role. For the past 15 years, Kelli mentored
high school students on their journey to post-secondary education and training. She
is passionate about online learning because she earned her leadership endorsement,
MA and EdD in an online format and sees the value in the flexibility that online learning
provides. She is eager to build a community of lifelong learners through her advising
role at CSCC.
Shaquila Horne
Shaquila earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Akron in 2016,
and her master’s in Secondary Education in 2021, and her Superintendent’s License
from Ohio University in 2023. Shaquila has worked in K–12 education for eight years
and currently serves as the principal of a dropout prevention online high school.
She is also a student success coach and advisor at Columbus State Community College.
Shaquila is passionate about student success and innovative learning, and is dedicated
to creating opportunities that empower learners to reach their full potential.
Jon Moorehead II
Jon is a career educator with extensive experience in K-12 and higher education. He
has served students as a high school business education teacher, dean of students,
and principal, while also working in the higher ed realm as an advisor and Visiting
Administrative Fellow. With over 10 years of experience working with youth and adult
students, Jon is most passionate about advocacy, engagement, removing barriers, and
building internal capacity to support the holistic needs of students of all ages and
backgrounds. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University
of Toledo; Master of Education degree from Bowling Green State University, and completed
a post-graduate fellowship at Harvard University in the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural
and Race Relations. He is a native of Columbus, Ohio but has lived and worked in the
Cleveland, Boston, and Washington, D.C areas throughout his career.
Jenn Stewart
Jenn has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Leadership Studies from
Wilmington College (2001) and began her career supporting infants and toddlers with
disabilities. Jenn later served as the districtwide Behavior Coordinator for Jonathan
Alder Local Schools, deepening her commitment to supporting students with diverse
needs.
In 2014, she earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. Jenn's subsequent roles included serving as a Special Education Coordinator for both the ESC of Central Ohio and South-Western City Schools, where she primarily supported middle and high school students with disabilities. She later held the position of Director of Student Services for Springfield City Schools while pursuing a Ph.D. in Special Education through Concordia University Chicago, where she is currently ABD (All But Dissertation).
Presently, Jenn serves on the Specialized On-Site Support Team at the ESC of Central Ohio, where she works as an instructional coach and project lead for special education initiatives, supporting districts in strengthening inclusive practices and improving outcomes for students with disabilities.
