Outcome Measures
As a program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory
Sciences (NAACLS), the Columbus State Community College MLT Program makes outcome
measures for the past three years available to prospective and enrolled students.
The outcome measures defined by NAACLS includes pass rates on the ASCP Board of Certification
(BOC) Exam, graduation rates, and graduate placement rates for students entering the
final half of the MLT Program.
The outcome measures for those students entering the final half of the MLT Program
for the past three years are as follows:

Pass Rates
- Between 2021 and 2022 the program’s ASCP BOC pass rate was 100%
- Between 2020 and 2021 the program's ASCP BOC pass rate was 100%
- Between 2019 and 2020 the program's ASCP BOC pass rate was 94%
MLT Program Graduation Rates
- Between 2021 and 2022 the program’s graduation rate was 95%
- Between 2020 and 2021 the program's graduation rate was 82%
- Between 2019 and 2020 the program's graduation rate was 96%
MLT Program Placement Rates
- Between 2021 and 2022 the program’s placement rate was 100%
- Between 2020 and 2021 the program's placement rate was 100%
- Between 2019 and 2020 the program's placement rate was 92%
