Enrollment Steps
The Modern Manufacturing Work-Study offers students a holistic education; providing
them the opportunity for a paid industry work experience while they earn their degree.
Paired with Columbus State’s low tuition rates, students work toward a debt-free degree,
pipelined toward an in-demand career path. This program is only available for students
majoring in the following academic programs:

Step 1 | Apply for Admission to the College: To be considered for the Modern Manufacturing Work-Study Program, you must first
be admitted to Columbus State as a student. Apply for admission to the college by submitting a free online admissions application. When asked your program of study, be sure to choose Electronic, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical,
or Logistics Engineering Technology. For more information regarding the steps to becoming

Step 2 | Submit RFI Form: Let us know you are interested in being considered for the program by completing
the Request for Information (RFI) Form to indicate that you are interested in the program and be placed on the contact list
for important updates and information on events, scholarship opportunities, and pending
deadlines
Step 3 | Intake Appointment: Schedule an intake appointment for a virtual meeting or phone conversation with our Outreach Program Coordinator,
Kaylor Ramey. During this meeting, you can ask questions about the program, explore your eligibility,
and discuss next steps.
Step 4 | Meet College Readiness Requirements: Prove college readiness by submitting your ACT/SAT test scores, placement test scores,
and/or transcripts.

Step 5 | Submit Program Application: Once you are admitted to Columbus State as a student and have completed steps 1-3,
you will then be instructed to complete the Modern Manufacturing Work-Study Program
Application. The application will be provided to you by Outreach Coordinator, Kaylor Ramey.
