Admissions
Thank you for your interest in Columbus State Community College. The Aviation Maintenance
Technology at Columbus State is an FAA approved program, certificate number DL9T090R.
The AMT program at Columbus State prepares students to take the written, oral, and
practical FAA General, Airframe and Powerplant tests in order to become a certified
Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance Technician. Our full-time program runs year-round
(spring, summer and autumn semesters); Mondays – Thursdays (sometimes Fridays), from
8a – 1p.
In addition, an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance can be
earned while completing the A&P certificate program. A plan of study has been included.
