Why Aviation Maintenance?
Aviation Maintenance Technician training has been, for many years, a door to opportunity
for aircraft mechanic jobs, and related fields. Columbus State provides training for
certification as an Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance Technician.
An Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA), under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part (14CFR65), is required
for employment as an Aviation Maintenance Technician.
