7. Obtain your Cougar ID Card (Optional)
Once you are registered for classes, you are welcome to obtain a Cougar ID card. This is not a requirement, but many students choose to obtain their Cougar ID for various purposes, including borrowing books from the campus Library, utilizing the student Computer Commons, as well as for identification purposes.
Please note that in order to obtain a Cougar ID, individuals, regardless of age, are required to provide a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a Driver’s License, State ID card, green card, passport, or current US Military ID). For middle and high school students, we can accept a middle school or high school photo ID card (and possibly a birth certificate too) depending on the students’ ages and grades. **Please note: Not all CSCC courses are available for CCP students either with CCP funding or as a self-pay option. Please check the Restricted Courses List and program lists before submitting your self-pay request.

- Dropped courses are not reflected in a student's GPA.
- Dropped courses can impact a student's "Satisfactory Academic Progress" when applying for Financial Aid upon high school graduation.
- Dropped course(s) may impact a student's high school attendance and/or athletic eligibility. All questions about HS attendance or athletic eligibility should be directed to the student's high school counselor or athletic director.
