Campus News | Monday, May 21, 2018

Goodwill STNA gradGoodwill Columbus hosted its annual Stepping Up Ceremony to honor participants who have successfully completed career programs. This year, seven participants in the Columbus State/Goodwill Nurse Aide Certificate (STNA) scholarship program were recognized. All seven students have been successfully placed in career-track jobs with a local rehabilitation center.

The Columbus State/Goodwill STNA scholarship program offers participants the ability to complete Columbus State’s STNA program free of charge. Students also participate in a two-week intensive career readiness boot camp prior to beginning the STNA class, and receive wraparound career placement services through Goodwill.

The STNA, or State-Tested Nurse Aide, program is a recognized credential and is generally a first step to obtaining an LPN or RN license. Columbus State's STNA Program
