About Student Support Services (SSS)
The goal of the Student Support Services Program at Columbus State is to increase the college retention and graduation rates of its participants and facilitate the process of transition from one level of higher education to the next. Eligible participants in the program will have the opportunity to receive one to one advisement on a regular basis, access to tutoring, mentoring and many other academic related support services. SSS is committed to helping you achieve your educational goals, “Let SSS become a vital part of your academic success here at Columbus State.”
The Student Support Services Program is a federally funded grant program serving the eligible Columbus State Community College population. - Academic Advising
- Tutorial Services
- Mentoring Program
- Career and Personal Advising
- Assistance in locating financial aid sources and scholarships
- Opportunities to participate in cultural and educational enrichment activities
- Workshops designed to meet the academic needs of the students
