Are you a dislocated adult worker or a young adult looking to build a career path?
Columbus State can assist students with developing the pricing estimate, requested by their county funding agency, so the agency may determine eligibility for government funding (WIOA and/or CCMEP) to pursue a new career path at CSCC.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Most low-income young adults up to 24 years of age may be eligible for CCMEP.
- Adults, dislocated workers, and out-of-school youth who have been laid off may be
eligible for WIOA.

Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP) is an innovative program that can help low-income young adults build career paths with many supports depending on each individual's unique needs, including education and career training.
WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) was developed to help job seekers and workers access employment, education, training and support services to succeed in the labor market. The services are provided through local (county) American Job Centers within the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
Columbus State can help students:
- Develop a cost estimate
- Complete required agency documentation
- Connect you to college and community resources for support
Students seeking completion of WIOA or CCMEP paperwork must first apply through their local OhioMeanJobs Center.
