The Student Emergency Relief Grant is now open it will close at noon on Wednesday,
Are you a Columbus State student in need of financial assistance? We want to help!
Columbus State knows students can experience a variety of unexpected situations impacting
financial stability which may jeopardize their enrollment and academic success. This
is especially true during the current Coronavirus National Emergency.
Eligible students may apply for the Student Emergency Relief Grant to assist with
emergency financial needs related to any component of the cost of attendance and/or
temporary costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as: tuition, food, housing, physical
and/or mental health, and child care. Columbus State has access to funding through
the Federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF). Assistance will be provided
in accordance with college policy and guidance from the U.S. Department of Education.
This guidance prioritizes financial need as a criterion governing funds disbursement.
Grants will be provided for eligible students while funds remain available. Completing
an application does not guarantee you will receive a grant. All applications for students
who meet the criteria will be reviewed, but not all requests may be filled or may
be partially filled.
