Dr. Nichole Bowman-Glover

Dr. Nichole Bowman-Glover has been the wellness program coordinator at Columbus State Community College for 14 years. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of public health. Prior to her joining Columbus State, she served as the health policy advocate for the Children’s Defense Fund-Ohio and women’s health outreach coordinator for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Dr. Bowman-Glover holds a master’s degree in Public Health with a focus on international health and behavioral science, and recently completed her Ph.D. in public health with an emphasis on community health education and health promotion. She is a certified Mental Health First Aid Trainer, lifestyle coach, and fitness instructor.
Dr. Bowman-Glover is the proud mother of an innovative second-year college student. Her passion is working to create a culture of wellbeing while exploring how the various dimensions of wellbeing are impacted by social inequities.
Stacy Burke

Stacy Burke is an author, entrepreneur, and behavioral economics expert. She is president and CEO of Restorative Financial Services and The ONIONomics Financial Wellness Program. Over the past decade, she has been dedicated to serving families, youth, and individuals from all walks of life, with a special concentration on the justice-involved, at-risk, and adult treatment communities. Unlike most literacy programs, her curriculum is designed to identify and heal root causes of destructive finanancial disorders that sabotage our financial health and "mental wealth." Ultimately, ONIONiomics participants learn how to use their most difficult traumas as a spring board for re-writing a new financial narrative that will endure for generations to come.

Burke's community involvement includes service on the Reentry Advisory Board of Franklin County, Ohio; the Advising Committee for incarcerated veterans at the Jackson Pike Correctional Center II; and board membership on Chosen 4 Change.
Benjamin Crump

Through a steadfast dedication to justice and service, renowned civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump has established himself as one of the nation’s foremost lawyers and advocates for social justice, earning the nickname “Black America’s Attorney General.” His legal acumen has ensured that those marginalized in American society are protected by their nation’s contract with its constituency. He is the founder and principal owner of Ben Crump Law.
Crump’s tireless advocacy has led to legislation preventing excessive force and developing implicit bias training and policies. He has represented families in several high-profile civil rights cases including Trayvon Martin, who was killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer in Sanford, Florida, in 2012; Michael Brown, who was killed by a law enforcement officer in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014; Stephon Clark, who was killed by police officers in Sacramento, California, in 2018; as well as the residents of Flint, Michigan, who were affected by the poisoned water of the Flint River. Crump represented nine of the 13 black women who were victims in the Holtzclaw Oklahoma City Police rape case in 2015 and worked on the precedent-setting U.S. Supreme Court case involving excessive police force against Robbie Tolan in 2008.
Crump is the president of the National Civil Rights Trial Lawyers Association and previously served as president of the National Bar Association. He was the first African-American to chair the Florida State University College of Law Board of Directors and currently serves on the Innocence Project Board of Directors. He is the founder and director of the Benjamin Crump Social Justice Institute.
Charles W. Noble III

Charles W. Noble III joined Columbus State Community College in 2020 as executive-in-residence for community engagement. Later that year, he was appointed as the College’s chief of staff. In this role, Noble oversees the advancement and planning of integrated leadership efforts by Columbus State’s Board of Trustees, the Columbus State Foundation Board of Directors, the public-private real estate development entity Columbus State Community Partners, and College administration. In addition, he provides guidance on the management and growth of College community partnerships that further collaborative outreach to meet the current and future service needs of Central Ohio. As a member of the Ohio Bar, Noble also provides legal guidance to the College in support of the general counsel.
Before coming to Columbus State, Noble served as chief legal counsel and chief strategy officer to the Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services. He has also been director of African-American Male Initiatives at Columbus Urban League, and program manager for Boys and Men of Color Initiatives at The Ohio State University’s Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity.
Noble holds a juris doctor from The Ohio State University Mortiz College of Law, a bachelor of arts in sociology and criminology from The Ohio State University, and a master’s of urban planning from the University of Maryland.
Donte Woods-Spikes

Donte Woods-Spikes is a Columbus State student known for his professional speaking, documentaries, and most of all his work in communities. His influential voice has been requested by the likes of TEDxColumbus, Pecha Kucha Columbus, Ohio Arts Council Conference, National Charter School Conference, GDEX, and Collegiate Leadership Conference of Ohio. He is recognized as an established storyteller by the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Columbus Makes Art campaign, and is the creator of the brand Empathize With Me.
Woods-Spikes believes we are all connected through our experiences and stories we share. The purpose of Empathize With Me is to document stories of Columbus community members and share those stories to further educate and connect the Columbus community.
