Staff and Contact Information
The department of Student Wellbeing provides Columbus State students, employees, and
the Columbus community with a valuable fitness and wellness resource. The Student
Wellbeing team can provide folks with appropriate counsel on mental health and physical
activity as well as proper program design and exercise prescription. In addition to
physical activity training and exercise program design, the mission of Student Wellbeing
at Columbus State is to empower students on their wellness journey by improving their
overall wellbeing through all dimensions of wellness so they are successful in and
outside of the classroom.

Ezekiel Peebles
Director of Student Wellbeing

Ezekiel Peebles, LPCC-S, NCC is the Director of Student Wellbeing. He is a Licensed
Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor by the state of Ohio since 2011. He received
a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from The Ohio State University and a Masters in
Clinical Counseling from the University of Dayton. He has over 18 years of experience
working in the private industry and higher education with a focus on mental health
and student wellbeing. His expertise includes psychotherapy which focuses on the whole
individual and helping people to manage their life and relationships. He is a member
of the American Counseling Association and the Ohio Counseling Association.
