Student support group forming now

Student News | Monday, September 28, 2020

Columbus State realizes that this has been a challenging time for students to learn, given many of the life changes that have taken place as a result of COVID-19 and the stressors that have transpired as a result of it. Consequently, Counseling Services will be providing oversight to a new student support group that can help you discuss the direct or indirect impact of Covid-19 on your life. This offers an opportunity to share your story with others, receive encouragement, and gather tips from peers on how to work through stress effectively.

If you are interested, sessions will be conducted remotely on Blackboard Collaborate starting this week. They will be held every Thursday beginning on October 1 from 3-4 p.m. (You may attend one, several, or all of the sessions.) The online sessions will run for eight weeks through Thursday, November 19. Simply click onto this link to enter into the meeting prior to its start. Car. We hope to see you there!”
