Save the date for the English Department's annual Writers Conference

Are you interested in Creative Writing? Would you like to meet with other authors and learn about local publishing opportunities? Then please save the date for the English Department's 15th annual Writers Conference!  The conference is scheduled for Saturday, May 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m in the Columbus State Conference Center on the fourth floor of the Workforce Development building. The event includes workshops on the craft of writing, a book fair with local publishers, and a book signing with the keynote speaker, poet Bianca Spriggs.  The conference is free and open to the public and is an exciting opportunity to share ideas with local writers.  Please email Heather Thompson-Gillis (hthompso@cscc.edu)  or Mike Wright (mwrigh10@cscc.edu) for more information.
