Rally for your Rights: Debating the Issues

Rally for your Rights is a campus-wide initiative promoting community learning, collaboration, effective dialogue, and the celebration of free speech and expression. Presented in collaboration with the Global Diversity & Inclusion Center, Student Conduct is hosting a series of events, including a session on debating current issues.

Debating the Issues will be held on Thursday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. in Madison Hall 103. The event will focus on:

  • Educating students about constructive dialogue and debate techniques.
  • Facilitators will share key skills of healthy dialogue surrounding dissent.

Participants will have the opportunity to apply skills learned to take a stance, persuade others, and/or come to a mutual understanding. RSVP here.
