Learn to recognize relationship abuse with screening and discussion

Student News | Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Intimate relationships can be difficult to navigate and sometimes abusive behavior is hard to identify. That is why the Office of Compliance is presenting One Love’s “Love Labyrinth” video along with a facilitated discussion about emotional abuse in intimate relationships.

One Love is an organization committed to changing the statistics around relationship abuse one conversation at a time. Whether you’re a student or an employee of Columbus State, starting a conversation about healthy and unhealthy relationships can be difficult, but it can make all the difference in someone’s life. With the assistance of friends and resources at the College and in the community, you can help the people you know recognize and stop toxic relationships. Please join us on March 21, 2018 from 12:30-1:30 pm at the Delaware Campus, Moeller Hall room 128 for this important and informative event! Free snacks will be provided and everyone who attends will be eligible to enter a drawing for a gift card. A similar event is being planned for the Delaware Campus in March. This event is offered as part of the Know it. Name it. STOP IT! Awareness Campaign about stalking and intimate partner violence.
