Bolton Field provides training spot for area K-9 units

The Columbus Division of Fire, Ohio Highway Patrol, and Ohio University Police Department
held a joint training session Tuesday at Bolton Field with their Explosive Detection
K-9 units. The session also allowed Columbus State Fire Academy students to receive
training in explosive detection and see firsthand how the K-9's assist in locating
explosives. The Aviation facility also allowed each K-9 unit do training inside aircraft
and in an aviation hangar environment.
