PLACEMENT ASSESSMENTS ARE ADMINISTERED IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

DELAWARE CAMPUS: Moeller Hall, Room 157
DUBLIN REGIONAL LEARNING CENTER: Room 311

At this time, all virtual appointments are full. In-person appointments are available in Columbus, Delaware, and Dublin.
ESL PLACEMENT TESTING DEADLINE FOR SPRING SEMESTER 2025 IS THURSDAY, December 19, 2024. We recommend that testing be completed by December 1, 2024.
Assessment Day Information
Follow these guidelines to make your assessment day go smoothly:
- Identification: Everyone is required to present valid photo identification when reporting to the
Testing Center. Examples of valid photo IDs include a current Cougar (Student) ID
card, state-issued ID, passport, work/school ID, or other legitimate ID bearing a
photo and full name.
- Pictures of IDs will not be accepted.
- The name on the ID must match the name in our records.
- Middle School and High School students who do not have photo identification can ask their school to complete the Accuplacer Student ID Form
- Parking: Please visit www.cscc.edu/parking for parking information.
- No additional materials are needed for placement assessments.
- All personal belongings will need to be placed under the table or in a locker (where available), and they may not be accessed during the assessment session.
- Cell phones and electronic devices (including headphones, earbuds, photo/video capturing devices, fit-bits, calculator watches, smart watches, Google glasses, etc.) are not permitted in any testing location. You will need to power it off /silence it, remove it, and store it. No personal belongings can be accessed during testing.
- Headcoverings: All students will be asked to remove headcoverings, including hats and hoods.
- Exceptions can be made for religious or medical reasons. When preparing for testing in one of our testing centers or when testing virtually, we will need to confirm that you are not using earbuds and that your eyes are visible to our proctors.
- Short Breaks may be taken between assessments.
- No food is permitted in the testing locations.
- Children may not accompany a student to a testing location for purposes other than inquiry. Children may not be left unattended on campus, nor can a staff member be asked to take responsibility for a child, while a student is testing.
