
Social Work & Human Services
This five semester program prepares students to work in the human services professions including social work, mental health, addictions and developmental disabilities. The curriculum provides students with classroom instruction and practical skills necessary to become effective helpers. The program stresses important knowledge, skills and characteristics graduates need to be effective helpers in this profession. Students participate in practicum experiences in a variety of human services settings.
IMPORTANT DATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS
Information sessions are held each semester; including at least one during the day and one in the evening. This session is mandatory for students to attend prior to or when attending the first SAHS Introductory course.
