
Social Work & Human Services
This five semester program prepares students to work in the human services professions including social work, mental health, addictions and developmental disabilities. The curriculum provides students with classroom instruction and practical skills necessary to become effective helpers. The program stresses important knowledge, skills and characteristics graduates need to be effective helpers in this profession. Students participate in practicum experiences in a variety of human services settings.
IMPORTANT DATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS
Information sessions are held each semester; to include at least one during the day and one in the evening. This session is mandatory for students to attend prior to or when attending the first SAHS Introductory course.

Information sessions will be held virtually using Zoom. Registered students will receive an email with the Zoom link prior to the meeting.
Students will need to use a computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone to access the presentation as it has both visual and audio components. Students should access the meeting from a location where they are able to be fully present (please do not access a virtual meeting while driving, working, etc.) Students are expected to stay for the entire meeting and late arrivals will not be admitted.

Students may also seek advising through Health & Human Services Advising department.
Late arrivals will not be admitted.
