The study of Latin at Columbus State can apply to foreign language requirements in a variety of pathways and is also an integral part of the Classics program of study.

Latin is a highly organized and very logical language, and shapes mental processes in order to sharpen analytical skills, attention to detail and critical thinking. Like math, it involves problem-solving skills. STEM majors also especially benefit from Latin.  Students of Latin simply think better.
