December 2018 Commencement

 

The combined commencement for summer and autumn semesters was held December 14 at at the Celeste Center on the Ohio State Fairgrounds, 717 East 17th Ave., Columbus.

A record 1,400 students combined from both terms petitioned to graduate

The Commencement speaker was Dr. Crystal Clark, Professor of English. She has taught composition, creative writing, and literature at Columbus State for more than a quarter century. Clark holds a Master of Arts in English from The Ohio State University, a Master of Theological Studies from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Toledo—the most recent degree focusing on the experiences of women in community college leadership.
