Broader access. More degrees. Less debt.
Columbus State and Ohio State have long worked to make college more accessible to Ohioans, signing our original Preferred Pathway agreement in 2011.
The Pathway allows students to complete an associate degree at Columbus State - with our low tuition and small classes - then transfer to Ohio State to finish their bachelor's degree.
Buckeye Bridge extends this partnership. In addition to waiving tuition and fees at Ohio State, the colleges will also work together on advising, transfer counseling, academic support, and assessment to make it easier to enroll and graduate.
The first eligible students will be Spring 2026 Columbus State graduates who transfer to Ohio State's Columbus campus in Fall 2026.
